"Adult Basic Education is a much-needed program in our communities. If we want productive, self-sufficient, contributing members of society, we need to assist individuals in obtaining knowledge and basic skills for survival. Contributing members, 17 years of age or older, can then build on this basic foundation and continue to be life-long learners."

Our Adult Basic Education (ABE) Program is a necessary vehicle which provides the follwing:

  • GED 2002 Preparation
  • GED Online
  • Stress Management
  • Parenting Workshops
  • Reading
  • English as a Second Language (ESL)

  • Employability Skills
  • Life Skills
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Alternative GED Partnerships
  • Community Partnerships

Classes are free and open to the public. These classes are provided by Coahoma Community College Adult Basic Education Program and funded by the Mississippi State Board for Community and Junior Colleges.
