GED/ONLINE TESTING SERVICES

GED Testing Services
The GED/Online Testing Center offers GED Testing Services to students within the five counties of Bolivar, Coahoma, Quitman, Sunflower and Tunica Counties. The General Education Development (GED) test is administered to those persons who desire to earn a high school equivalency diploma if they were unable to complete their high school education.

General Information
The GED Test consists of language arts; writing, language arts reading, math, science and social studies.  The cost for the initial test is $120.  Should you not pass a section or sections of the test, you may retake that section or sections at a cost of $30 each.

Requirements for GED Testing 

  1. You are not enrolled in a secondary school.

  2. You are not a compulsory-school-age child.  A “compulsory school-age child” means a child who has not attained the age of (17) years on or before September 1 of the calendar year.

  3. Must show an official statement from the last school attended giving date the applicant officially withdrew from school or regular high school class graduated.

GED Transcripts/Diplomas
To request a copy of your GED transcript/diploma, please go to www.gedtestingservice.com/testers/gedrequest-a-transcript.  If you have an GED account, you can find the link when you log in.  If you do not have an GED account, then, you must create one in order to place your order. Even if you took the GED test before or after the year 2000, you must still create an account.


GED RESOURCES

The Official Practice Test is strongly suggested for all GED students who desire to take the practice test before the Official GED test.  This test is available through MYGED at www.GED.com
