The CCC Honors College is accepting applications for the Spring 2019 semester.  Students MUST meet all requirements to be admitted into the program in addition to completing the application in full.

Students should complete their application and return it to the Office of Admissions and Records.  Questions may be directed to Mr. Jeremy Pittman, Honors College Director (

MISSION: To provide an enhanced educational opportunity, above and beyond the standard course curriculum, for exceptional students who strive for academic excellence by demonstrating a high level of interest, initiative, and ability.

PHILOSOPHY:  Inspire students to challenge themselves, encourage research and higher levels of reasoning,

  1. Complete application and return to Delores M. Richard-Assistant Director of Admissions & Records, Coahoma Community College Admissions Office, located in the Vivian M. Presley Administration Building, First Floor.
  2. Submit an official copy of your high school transcript and college transcript (if you are a transfer student) and your most recent ACT or SAT score report.  If you have already sent them, it is not necessary to send a second copy.  All correspondence submitted on your behalf must include your complete name and Social Security number.  Type or print legibly.
  3. Submit two letters of recommendations from a high school teacher/counselor/administrator and from a community leader.
  4. Provide a 500-word profile essay, computer generated, typed double spaced using 12 point font.
No Application Fee:  CCC does not assess a fee to submit an application.
