Library Resources at the SON
The Allied Health Building in which the School of Nursing is located provides an area that is designed to allow students to conduct individual and group study. Computers are available for use for word processing and Internet access.
A card-operated copier is available for copying article from books and magazines. Contact the Administrative Assistant at the ADN SON to use this service.
Library Resources- Main Campus
One reader/printer is available for printing articles from microfilm and microfiche on the Reference Floor. The reader/printer charges are ten cents ($.10) per page. There are five microfilm readers available.
Currently there are no charges for using the printers connected to the computers. Patrons are asked to print only what they need.
A coin-op copier is available for copying articles from books and magazines. The copier accepts nickels, dimes, quarters, and dollar coins. Copies are ten cents ($.10) per page.
Computers labs are available on the second and third floors. Computers can be used for word processing and Internet access. Students must present proper identification in order to use the computers.
Four typing rooms are located on the third floor where computers and typewriters are available for student use.
A large seminar room is located on the third floor. This room, with a seating capacity of sixty-six, serves a variety of purposes.
