Registration for day classes opens Aug. 11
CLARKSDALE – All Coahoma Community College students enrolling in fall evening classes will register Saturday, August 8, in the Pinnacle, according to Wanda Holmes, registrar.
Registration for day classes opens Tuesday, August 11 in the Pinnacle.
“Centralizing registration for the spring semester on our main campus for all evening class sites was a tremendous success, and we are repeating it for the fall semester,” she says.
“Under one roof, our evening students who attend classes in Bolivar, Coahoma, Quitman, Tallahatchie, and Tunica counties can complete all registration requirement and be ready to start classes,” she continues.
Students attending classes in Shaw, Mound Bayou, and Rosedale will register from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.; students at the Charleston and Webb sites and on CCC’s main campus will register from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.; Tunica and Marks site students will register from 1:30 – 4 p.m.
Holmes says if students miss their scheduled registration times, CCC staff will be available to assist them until 4 p.m.
New students should bring an admission application; immunization form 121 (adult shot record); official high school transcript or official GED transcript or official college transcripts; social security card; copy of 2009-2010 financial aid award letter; signed copy of 2008 1040 federal tax return (if worked and filed taxes); signed copy of parents 2008 1040 federal tax return (dependent students only); proof of car insurance and tag number for parking decal.
