Two-hour event is free, Lyceum presentation
CLARKSDALE – A 2009 Fall Harvest Festival featuring an extravaganza of six elite college concert choirs will be presented at Coahoma Community College at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15 in the Pinnacle.
Performing will be CCC’s award-winning choir directed by Kelvin Towers; the Mississippi Valley State University Concert Choir directed by Orlando Moss; the Alcorn State University Choir directed by Donna Schaffer, Rust College’s Acapella Choir directed by Zeebede Jones; and the Talladega Concert Choir directed by Dr. Lindy McCloud.
The public is invited to the free event.
“Area schools, churches, and the general public are encouraged to attend; the program is expected to conclude at 7 p.m., “comments Carl Pitts, master of ceremonies.
“This festival is a community enrichment event sponsored as a CCC Lyceum presentation,” he continued.
