Operating a skyhigh crane, Zellner Construction Company workers outline Coahoma Community College’s new $6 million administrative building with structural steel. ‘With recent dry weather, construction is moving right along,’ comments Jerone Shaw, CCC’s special projects coordinator.
Shaw says the central concrete tower will house an elevator shaft, and the other two towers are stairwells. College admission services including the business office, financial aid, and book store will be consolidated on the first floor, according to Shaw. The president’s office, conference room, and other administrative offices will be located on the second floor.
