DUAL ENROLLMENT PROGRAM

The Dual Enrollment Program allows high school students to simultaneously earn college credit toward a postsecondary diploma or degree at a Mississippi community or junior college or an institution of higher learning that will also count as credit toward high school diploma.  According to the Mississippi Department of Education, the purpose of the Dual Enrollment program is to:

• shorten time to earn your college degree
• earn one (1) or ½ unit toward high graduation for each course taken

DUAL ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Completed Admission Application
• Fourteen (14) core high school units
• Overall 2.5 or above GPA on a 4.0 scale
• Official High School Transcript
• Letter from high school principal and/or guidance counselor
• Immunization Record (Form 121)
• Copy of Social Security Card and/or Driver’s License
• $30 per course ( day or evening)
• $45 per course (online)
• Plus textbook cost

Students without 14 core units may be considered with an ACT or SAT score of 30 and other requirements above.
