Dear Parent/Guardians & Players:
The purpose of the 2008 Metcalf-Holden Foundation Football Camp & Coahoma Community College is:
1. To provide participants the opportunity to develop discipline and character, to strengthen inner qualities and to grow as a total athlete. The camp will emphasize the importance of preparing physically, mentally and spiritually for the sport of football….and for life!
2. To provide participants the opportunity to learn and improve their football knowledge and skills. Under the guidance of experienced football coaches, each participant will come away with a better understanding of great game of football. The camp is designed to meet each players needs at a particular position, while they learn important techniques and fundamentals that are basic to the game of football. Campers will also make lifelong friends and have a lot of fun. We look forward to having your son join us for the 2008 Metcalf- Holden Foundation & Coahoma Community College Football Camp!
Safety:
Complete care will be taken by all coaches to insure the safety of camp participants. Each drill and activity used by coaches is designed with safety of athlete in mind. Participants will be evenly grouped according to age and grade. A licensed Athletic Trainer will be on site.
