Bachelorís degree preferred (experience in marketing, student recruitment, student advising,computer skills; good interpersonal skills.)


Description:
Assumes responsibility for recruitment efforts

Coordinates recruitment activities to identify and contact prospective students in specified populations and provide them with information about the college and facilitate student enrollment.
Duties: Performs a variety of duties to promote awareness of college programs and services

Provides information about enrollment, degree programs, financial aid, and general college information to prospective students, parents, and the general public

Works with local high schools to schedule regular visits for recruitment activities

Provides materials, including college catalogs, schedules and brochures to local high school career centers and other community centers

Participates in college fairs and other recruitment activities to promote college programs and services

Follows up with prospective students by phone, email, or regular mail

Assists prospective students with the application and enrollment process

Assists in developing recruitment materials and flyers

Answers telephone and email and provides information and assistance

Responds to requests for information from other educational institutions, agencies, and prospective students

Collects, compiles, verifies and records information for the preparation of various reports and/or reporting processes

Maintains complex electronic records and prepares electronic reports

Assists with registration

Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor
