More than 1,400 Students Expected at CCC Career Fair

CLARKSDALE More than 1,400 high school students from North Mississippi are expected to attend the annual Career Fair at Coahoma Community College Friday, March 1, according to Charles Butler, event chair.

The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Pinnacle and the public is invited to attend.

At least 50 vendors will have information booths; its a wonderful opportunity for students to ask questions and research future careers, says Butler.

He says high school counselors in Bolivar, Coahoma, Quitman, Tallahatchie, and Tunica counties are reserving blocks of time for their students to participate, but others are welcome to come also.
