Coahoma Community College’s Director of Maintenance, Jerone Shaw, accepts a $4,500 check from Sen. Robert L Jackson (D) Marks on behalf of the Foundation for Education and Economic Development.


MARKS — The Foundation for Education and Economic Development, the non-profit educational arm of the Mississippi Legislative Black Caucus, of which Sen. Robert L Jackson (D) Marks, serves as Treasurer, presented a $4,500 contribution to Coahoma Community College recently.

Cumulatively over the years, FEED has contributed over $1,000,000 to Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the state of Mississippi, both private and state supported institutions.

“It gave me great pleasure to represent CCC at this August event held at the Jackson Convention Complex,” said Jackson.
