Coahoma Community College’s Tiger welcomed at Ground Zero Blues Club Welcoming Coahoma Community College’s official Tiger banners to downtown Clarksdale at Ground Zero Blues Club over the weekend are owners Francine and Bill Luckett (right) with Dr. Vivian Presley, college president, and Ezra Howard, CCC webmaster. Howard, a member of CCC’s branding committee, incorporated artist Himes Weekly’s sports logo design into new banners hanging inside and outside the popular tourism attraction to welcome college students. Cited for their vigorous support of the college, the local economy and Mississippi’s blues and gospel culture, Luckett and his partner Morgan Freeman are honorary graduates of Coahoma Community College and annually spearhead the Morgan Freeman Scholarship Golf Tournament providing student scholarships to CCC.
