CLARKSDALE – Coahoma Community College Fit for life will cap off its Spring 2017 semester of events with “Glow Fit 2017”, Tuesday, April 25.

Hosted at 8 p.m. in the George F. Walker Fitness Center, the event will include “Glow in the Dark Zumba” led by Alicia Nixon; “Glow in the Dark Strength Training” led by Darius Davis and “Glow in the Dark Step Aerobics” with Letha Richards.

According to organizers, participants need to only BYOW—“bring your own white.”

“We will be providing the black lights, glow sticks and glow in the dark body paint for participants to enjoy,” said CCC Fit for Life Coordinator Taurean Morton.

“Let’s get ready to stretch, sweat and glow.”

The Fit for Life initiative at Coahoma Community College is funded by the Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation. Since 2015, the Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation has provided almost $500,000 in funding to Coahoma Community College for the Fit for Life initiative that extends from the campus into the surrounding communities and schools.
