CLARKSDALE – Coahoma Community College will pause to celebrate its Mr. and Miss CCC-elect and their royal court during the annual Coronation, Wednesday, April 12.

Hosted at 7 p.m. in the Pinnacle, the night of elegance, themed “A Royal Regal,” will pay tribute to the 2017-2018 Mr. CCC Andre Nawls of Clarksdale, MS and Miss CCC Tia Davis of Cleveland, MS.

Open to the general public, the free event will feature special entertainment and recognition of other campus royalty.

In addition to the official crowning of Mr. & Miss CCC 2017-2018, the evening will also give reigning Mr. CCC Royce Williams of Cleveland, MS and Miss CCC Cortise Brown of Jackson, MS the opportunity to give an official farewell.

“One of the highlights of the year is always the Coronation and crowning of Mr, and Miss CCC,” said CCC Director of Enrollment and Student Services Karen Done.

“As always, our overall mission is to graduate students of good character, competence and compassion. We look forward to seeing the community in The Pinnacle on April 12 as we welcome a new team of student leaders for the 2017-2018 school year.”
