CLARKSDALE – Coahoma Community College (CCC) is providing local students plenty of summer fun while giving parents’ wallets a vacation too with a variety of free and low-cost summer camps.

Here’s a breakdown of what’s being offered:

Educational Talent Search Summer Enrichment Program

Give your students a head start with ACT prep, financial literacy, cultural activities and career choices during CCC’s Educational Talent Search (ETS) Summer Enrichment Program.

The camp will open to rising 9th graders June 5-9; 10th graders June 12-16; and 11th and 12th graders June 19-23.

The program will run each day from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in CCC’s Sponsored Programs Building.

Those high school juniors and seniors attending will also enjoy a three-night stay on CCC’s campus and a cultural field trip.

CCC’s ETS Program, under the auspices of the TRiO Talent Search Program, is funded by the U.S. Department of Education and designed to increase the chances for low-income and/or first-generation college students to obtain a bachelor’s degree.
