[Clarksdale, Mississippi] Following a season of dedication, collaboration, and community spirit, the Retool Your School campaign concludes its 2024 initiative, marking a significant milestone in the journey towards enriching educational environments across the nation.

Following an unparalleled streak of five years at the forefront of the Retool Your School campaign, Coahoma Community College has currently attained the third position, pending the final tally of results across all clusters.

Winners will officially be announced at the Retool Your School Awards Celebration on April 11, 2024. The event will be hosted by FAMU alum Rashan Ali and will be shining a light on winning HBCUs and Legacy Honorees at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA.

This year, Retool Your School celebrates 15 years of empowering and upgrading HBCU campuses. Since its 2009 launch, the program has awarded 273 grants worth more than $9.2 million to America’s HBCUs.

This grant will allow the college to undertake a campus improvement projects aimed at creating a more conducive and enriching learning environment for students, teachers, and the wider community.

Throughout this campaign the college has made efforts in social media engagement and campus events/initiatives, to ensure its commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for its students.

With the support from Retool Your School in the past, Coahoma has been able to upgrade its campus to provide a better learning experience. With renovated classrooms and new technology, students can now study in modern, comfortable environments. These improvements benefit everyone at Coahoma, both now and for years to come.

The college looks forward to leveraging this momentum to continue enhancing the educational experience for its students and furthering its mission of academic excellence and community engagement.
