Position Title: Career Center Coordinator

Department: Student Engagement

Immediate Supervisor’s Title:  Assistant Director of Student Engagement

Positions Supervised: None

Term of Position: 12 Months Full-time Non-exempt

Position Description:(primary functions)

Provides the leadership of career counseling to students, develops workshops and provides needed information to aid in the development of students for life after graduation

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning in a related field required (business, education, computer information systems, community and economic development, educational leadership/administration, community college leadership, student personnel, higher education); extensive knowledge base of career computer software preferred; 3 years working with community agencies and businesses in job location for post secondary students preferred; experience in working with faculty k-12 or postsecondary in developing career workshops based on major fields of study required; Good interpersonal, oral communication, and writing skills required.
