Position Title: HVAC Technician

Department: Physical Plant

Immediate Supervisor’s Title:  Physical Plant Director

Positions Supervised: None

Term of Position: 12 Months Full-time Non-exempt

Position Description:(primary functions)

The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the repair of HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance, adherence to compliance standards, and consistent delivery of high-quality service.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent General Education Development (GED) Certificate
• Knowledge of acceptable maintenance procedures and understanding of occupational safety and health regulations
• Must have and maintain state HVAC licenses/certifications
• Must have a valid state drivers license

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• The HVAC Technician shall be responsible for performing routine maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.

• The HVAC Technician shall also be responsible for the installation of new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines.
