Buckner Jackson, known as Dr. PBJ, as the keynote speaker for its annual Pre-School
Conference. This much-anticipated event is designed to uplift and re-energize local
educators ahead of the new academic year.
With nearly 25 years in education and over a decade of coaching leaders and professionals across the country, Dr. PBJ brings more than expertise. She brings heart. She understands the soul of an educator because she is one. Her message is a timely reminder that those who are called to serve must also be cared for. As a passionate advocate for teachers, counselors, administrators, and support staff, Dr. Jackson’s mission is clear: to help educators rediscover their purpose and thrive without burning out.
Dr. Jackson’s journey in education is as inspiring as her message. She has served in roles at every level of higher education, from student assistant to the President’s Cabinet, offering her a unique perspective on what educators face in and outside the classroom. Her leadership experience is both vast and meaningful. She holds a doctoral degree in Educational Administration and has served as a faculty member for the Center for Creative Leadership. In every role, she has remained deeply committed to one goal: helping others lead with purpose and sustainability.
Through her company, EduCare Training and Consulting, LLC, Dr. Jackson has poured into educators by equipping them with strategies that allow them to serve others while still honoring their own needs. Her work was born out of lived experience. She knows firsthand the emotional weight that comes with compassionate work and the toll it can take on a person’s mind, body, spirit, and relationships.
