Clarksdale, Mississippi - Coahoma Community College's Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter proudly announces their outstanding achievements at the 2024 State Leadership Conference held at Northwest Community College in Senatobia from February 14th to 16th, 2024.

Tori Anderson, a dedicated student in the Business Office Technology program, showcased her exceptional talents and leadership skills at the conference. Competing in two rigorous categories, Foundations of Hospitality Management and Parliamentary Procedures, Tori exemplified excellence and determination. Her hard work and dedication paid off as she clinched 1st place in Parliamentary Procedures and 2nd place in Hospitality Management, earning her the opportunity to advance to the national stage.

With her remarkable performance at the state level, Tori Anderson secured her spot to represent Coahoma Community College at the 2024 National Future Business Leaders of America Competition in Orlando, Florida, scheduled for June 24th to 27th, 2024. Tori, who has been an integral part of the Business Office Technology program for two years, is set to graduate in May with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Healthcare Data Technology. She currently serves as the president of the FBLA chapter at Coahoma Community College.

Tori's success is not newfound. Last year, she showcased her prowess in Business Communications and Human Resource Management, securing 1st place in Business Communications and 2nd place in Human Resource Management at the state competition held in Columbus, MS. Her outstanding performance at the national level in Atlanta, Georgia, where she placed 3rd in both competitive events, brought honor not only to herself but also to Coahoma Community College.

The achievements of Tori Anderson and the entire FBLA chapter exemplify the mission of Future Business Leaders of America: to inspire and prepare students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experiences.
