(Clarksdale, Miss.) - Coahoma Community College is proud to announce that Jeffrey
“Stoney” Gooden has been selected to participate in the 2026 Disney College Program
at Walt Disney World Resorts in Orlando, Florida.
Gooden, a Business Administration major and member of the 2025–2026 Tiger Baseball Team, is a native of Clarksdale, Mississippi, and a 2025 graduate of Clarksdale High School. Affectionately known as “Stoney,” he began his academic journey at Coahoma while still in high school through the college’s dual enrollment program.
Currently, Gooden is on track to complete the requirements for his Associate of Arts degree this fall while simultaneously participating in the Disney College Program. Following his time at Coahoma, he plans to continue his education at Alcorn State University, which has confirmed that he will receive college credit toward his bachelor’s degree upon completion of the internship.
In preparation for the opportunity, Gooden brings valuable certifications and experience. He is an American Red Cross certified lifeguard, including deep-water certification, and holds credentials in AED for Professional Rescuers, CPR, and First Aid. His participation in the program will allow him to gain hands-on professional experience with The Walt Disney Company, a Fortune 100 organization.
The Disney College Program is a paid internship designed for college students and recent graduates to live, work, and learn at Walt Disney World Resorts. Participants also attend courses through Disney University, where they study the company’s heritage, culture, leadership principles, and business standards. The Walt Disney Company’s global portfolio includes film studios, television networks, streaming services, theme parks, cruise lines, and consumer products, with brands such as ABC, ESPN, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, 20th Century Studios, and Hulu.
Gooden expressed appreciation for the opportunities he has received at Coahoma Community College and looks forward to proudly representing Tiger Nation as a cast member at Walt Disney World Resorts.
