Coahoma Community College workforce and career and technical education professionals participated in the 2026 Career and Technical Education and Workforce Conference, Mississippi's premier annual gathering for workforce, career, and technical education leaders. The conference brought together educators, administrators, and industry professionals from across the state to explore emerging trends, strengthen partnerships, and share strategies that support workforce development and student success.
Representing Coahoma Community College, members of the College's workforce and career and technical education divisions joined colleagues from all 15 Mississippi community colleges for several days of professional development, collaboration, and networking. The annual conference provided attendees with timely information on instructional practices, curriculum development, workforce training, equipment, and assessment, equipping institutions with resources to better serve students and Mississippi's evolving workforce needs.
Throughout the conference, Coahoma's representatives attended educational sessions designed to enhance career and technical education programs while exchanging ideas with college presidents, vice presidents of instruction, career and technical deans and directors, workforce professionals, and faculty from across the state.
