(Clarksdale, Mississippi) - Coahoma Community College staff attended the 2026 Jenzabar Annual Meeting from May 27–30, 2026. The event was held at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Dallas, Texas, and focused on technology strategies that support student success.
The annual conference, hosted by Jenzabar, brought together higher education leaders, administrators and technology professionals. Attendees participated in workshops, collaborative discussions and networking sessions focused on enrollment management, student success, institutional effectiveness, technology integration and campus operations.
Conference sessions highlighted artificial intelligence, data-informed decision-making, student engagement, marketing and recruitment strategies, and campus technology solutions. Coahoma Community College representatives attended sessions aligned with institutional communication, enrollment services, student support, operational efficiency and higher education technology advancement.
“The Jenzabar Annual Meeting provided a valuable opportunity to network and collaborate with higher education professionals from across the country who are committed to improving institutional processes and enhancing student success,” said Joseph McKee, director of financial aid, Coahoma Community College. “The conference allowed us to exchange ideas, explore innovative solutions and gain insight into strategies that can positively impact our students and campus operations.”
Loria Fortune-Barfield, enrollment manager, Coahoma Community College, said one of her strongest takeaways was the importance of maximizing tools already available within the college’s Student Information System.
“The conference reinforced that student success, retention, enrollment growth and data-informed decision-making are most effective when technology solutions work together seamlessly rather than independently,” Fortune-Barfield said. “I left the conference inspired and equipped with new strategies to strengthen the student experience while improving efficiency across our technology platforms.”
JAM 2026 featured hundreds of sessions and learning opportunities for higher education professionals, along with networking opportunities focused on advancing colleges and universities nationwide.
