Frank Howard, Sr. Memorial Scholarship
The Frank Howard, Sr. Scholarship was established in honor of Frank Howard, Sr., who served as an instructor in the Math and Science Department for Coahoma Community College from 1966 - 1990. Five (5) students will be awarded in the Fall and five (5) students will be awarded in the Spring semester.
Eligibility/Requirements

before applying. You may submit only ONE APPLICATION. This application MUST be completed
entirely and your college transcript must be on file along with your completed Financial
Aid packet in order for your application to be considered. You can NOT start and
return; THEREFORE, have your letters of recommendation ready to attach below upon
completion of your application. Thank you for submitting your application.
Criteria and Requirements:
- The student must be enrolled full-time (15 hours) without a break or gap in enrollment with a cumulative overall GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- The student must also demonstrate outstanding scholastic ability and/or leadership with the determination to graduate from college and holding membership in a college organization.
- The student must submit the scholarship application with most recent transcript attached, letters of recommendation from two (2) former college instructors, and a one-page letter written by the applicant explaining his or her educational goals.
