A scrumptious afternoon meal, with barbeque chicken and fried fish as entrees, transitioned the families of Tiger football players into the last home game set for the 2021 regular season. The Office of the President accented the last home game’s designation as Sophomore Night, hosting a pre-game gathering of parents and close relatives at the James E. Miller Stadium just west of the stands.

Coahoma Community College Dr. Valmadge T. Towner brought in the anticipated sporting event, stating, “I want to thank you for entrusting us with your most prized possessions. I appreciate the spirit you have and your supporting them. We’re going to have grace and mingle and eat. I’m here for you. We’ll be talking more as time goes on.”

Wrapping up his remarks, Towner expressed his wish for victories of the football team’s last two games. He pinpointed that the institution also aims to assist their children in reaching their educational goal, be it graduating in December, transferring, or graduating in May.

Cheery family members then rooted on sophomore players as they blasted out of the recently debuted Tiger tunnel as part of pre-game recognition.
