Karen Woods-Done, Director of Student Engagement, shared how Week of Welcome plays a vital role in supporting students at the beginning of the year. “Week of Welcome sets the tone for the entire academic year. It’s more than just a series of fun events—it’s about making sure our students feel connected, supported, and part of a larger family. From their very first day, we want them to know that they belong here, that resources are available to help them succeed, and that their journey at Coahoma will be filled with opportunities for growth, engagement, and Tiger pride.”

Week of Welcome continues to stand as one of CCC’s most anticipated traditions, uniting students, faculty, and staff while reinforcing the college’s mission to foster success, community, and Tiger pride from day one.
