The Office of Communications & Marketing and the Athletic Department are delighted
to introduce the latest addition, who will play a pivotal role as the Sports Information
Director.
Bryce Perry, a native of Byram, Mississippi, is a dedicated sports enthusiast whose journey embodies excellence both on and off the court. Perry's athletic prowess was evident early on during his time at Terry High School. His passion for basketball continued to flourish, leading him to Jones College, where he played a pivotal role in the 2014 NJCAA national championship team. This experience not only honed his skills but also instilled in him the values of teamwork and perseverance.
Continuing his pursuit of excellence, Perry pursued higher education at Mississippi College, earning a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. His academic journey complemented his athletic achievements, providing a comprehensive understanding of human movement and sports science.
Fueled by a desire to contribute to the sports world in broader capacities, Perry furthered his education at Belhaven University, culminating in a master's degree in Sports Administration. This comprehensive academic background, combined with his on-field experience, positions Perry as a valuable asset to Coahoma athletics.
In his capacity as Sports Information Director, Perry will be responsible for producing and maintaining sports media content across various domains, including press releases, statistical information, photography, video to promote student-athletes, coaches, CCC Sports accomplishments, and much more. His work will be instrumental in bolstering our marketing efforts, enhancing communications, and advancing institutional sports priorities.
Perry approaches his new role as Sports Information Director (SID) at Coahoma Community College, by bringing a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted passion for sports. His blend of academic knowledge, practical experience, and unwavering dedication is set to elevate Coahoma's athletic programs, marking the beginning of an exciting chapter in the institution's sporting journey under his guidance.
