Dave and Betty Cook Scholarship
The Dave and Betty Cook, do hereby pledge to donate Coahoma Community College, Clarksdale, Mississippi, an annual scholarship in the amount of $1,000 for an indigent student who is entering as a first-time in college full-time freshman. This scholarship shall go to the recipient for the duration of his / her college career at Coahoma Community College as long as he / she remains in good academic standing.
Eligibility/Requirements
(1) The student must be a incoming first-time full-time freshman only who will be
attending Coahoma Community College.
(2) In order for the annual scholarship to continue as granted, the recipient must
demonstrate academic success with an overall 2.50 GPA or better at the end of the
semester with no failures.
(3) The scholarship is for the spring and fall terms only.
(4) Completed Financial Aid packet must be on file in the Financial Aid Office
(5) Submit two letters of recommendation, a personal 500 word essay on the need for
financial assistance; and a motivational statement.
