EZRA TOWNER III SCHOLARSHIP
RESIDENTS OF QUITMAN COUNTY ONLY
The EZRA TOWNER III SCHOLARSHIP is named after the son of Mary Alice Holmes Towner. Ezra passed away at the age of
ten.
The scholarship is awarded to a resident of Quitman County only.
Eligibility/Requirements
DIRECTIONS : Please review the details, criteria/requirements for all scholarships before applying.
You may submit only ONE APPLICATION. This application MUST be completed entirely and your college transcript
must be on file the Admissions Office along with your completed Financial Aid packet
in order for your application to be considered. You can NOT start and return; THEREFORE,
have your letters of recommendation and personal essay ready to attach below upon
completion of your application.
An applicant must meet the following criteria:
- 2.5 or higher cumulative GPA
- Major in Education
- A personal essay that addresses how you feel education is beneficial to students
- Letters of recommendation are welcome but not required for this scholarship
Amount: The award amount is $1000
