Henry “Win” Winogrond Memorial Graduate Scholarship
The HENRY "WIN" WINOGROND MEMORIAL GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP: The scholarship can be used at any 4-year college or university to complete the student’s final two years of a bachelor degree. The scholarship is for two years (provided there is adequate progress toward a BACHELORS degree). It can be used for books, room, board, and other living expenses necessary for the student.
Eligibility/Requirements
- Outstanding academic achievement at Coahoma Community College. The grade point average should be at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Provide evidence of strong leadership at Coahoma Community College and/or in the community.
- Commitment to earn a college degree from a four-year accredited institution in two additional years
- Provide proof of full-time enrollment at the status at the university.
- Authorize the four-year universities to send course, grades and academic standing to Community. Foundation at the end of each semester to show progress
- Note: Funds will be dispersed after the Community Foundation receives the progress from the university.
Amount: $4500 per year - two years
