The Lockett Family Breathe Easy Scholarship

The Lockett Family Breathe Easy Scholarship is a $500 award given during the summer session to a full-time student who is enrolled in the Respiratory Therapy program and is returning after having completed the fall and spring semester of the freshman year.

Eligibility/Requirements
The student must have clearly demonstrated a financial need for the award. The student
also must have demonstrated motivation, dependability, and reliability. The student
must have a cumulative 2.75 GPA during the didactic phase of the program and must
have an active membership in either the MSRC or AARC. The student must complete the
scholarship application and submit the following along with the online application:
- Two typed and signed letters of reference on official letterhead: one letter from a program faculty member and one from a community leader.
- A 250-500-word essay written by the student that details their career goals and the impact that the Locket Family Breathe Easy Scholarship would have on their studies at Coahoma Community College.
