The Teretha Jossell Walton Scholarship is established in honor of retired educator, Mrs. Teretha Jossell Walton, formerly of Marks, MS.  The Teretha Jossell Walton Scholarship is awarded to an African American female sophomore Education major, who is prepared to graduate from Coahoma Community College spring 2024 (May 11, 2024), and has been accepted to a university for the fall 2024 semester, to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education.  The student must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA.  The award amount is $500.00.
