Taking center stage in Mississippi’s Old Capitol Museum in Jackson Wednesday before
an overflow audience at the State Hall of Fame portrait unveiling of playwright Tennessee

principal speaker Dr. Kenneth Holditch of New Orleans; and Dr. Vivian Presley, retired
president of Coahoma Community College who inaugurated Clarksdale’s Mississippi Delta
Tennessee Williams Festival in 1993 and the unveiling of its Tennessee Williams stamp
for the U.S. Postal Service in 1995.
