Virtual Meeting Backgrounds

To ensure a consistent and professional visual presence across all virtual meetings, we’ve created new official college virtual backgrounds. These branded backgrounds should be used for all virtual meetings, presentations, and online events where you are representing the college.

Using the approved backgrounds helps us present a unified identity and reinforces the college’s commitment to excellence and professionalism in every virtual setting.

Right click on the image, then select "Save Image As…" or "Save Picture As..." from the dropdown menu.

How to Add the Backgrounds

Zoom

  1. Open Zoom and click the Settings gear (⚙️) in the upper-right corner.

  2. Select Background & Effects (or Virtual Background).

  3. Click the ‘+’ icon to Add Image or Video.

  4. Upload the light or dark college seal background from your computer.

  5. Select the background you want to display.

  6. (Optional) Check Mirror my video if text appears backward.

Google Meet

  1. Before or during a meeting, click the three dots at the bottom right.

  2. Select Apply visual effects.

  3. Under Backgrounds, click the ‘+’ icon to upload your image.

  4. Choose the light or dark version of the college seal background.

  5. Close the sidebar to apply.

Microsoft Teams

  1. While in a meeting, click More → Effects and Avatars.

  2. Select Add new and upload the desired college seal background image.

  3. Choose your new background before or during meetings.

Best Practices

  • Use a well-lit space for the best visual quality.

  • Avoid using additional filters or animated backgrounds.

  • Refrain from altering, cropping, or adding logos to the official backgrounds.
