EKG

 
This is a 4-week certificate program that prepares individuals for the performing and evaluation of EKGs in the hospital and clinical settings. Each student completing this program is eligible to take the National Health Association’s EKG Certification Examination.  Students who apply for the EKG Program must meet the following requirements:
  1. Completed application
  2. Official copy of high school transcript or Official GED passing scores
  3. Test for Adult Basic Education Test (TABE) scores with a minimum of 10 in Math and Reading
  4. Copy of Drivers License
  5. Social Security Card
  6. Immunization Record showing:
    1. MMR
    2. Hepatitis B series (can be completed after entry to program)
    3. Varicella or chicken pox shot or titers (can be completed after entry to program)
    4. 2-step TB skin test
    5. Flu vaccine

*Criminal Background and Drug Screen will be required upon admission
